My first post back and it's gonna be in maddie's task jar!! YAY!!!! ~hugs maddie~ So, even though a certain someone unwittingly stole one of my ideas for your task jar...~grin~ i was able to come up with a few more ideas off the top of my head.

writing assignments -

write an short essay on the importance of communication and respect in a D/s relationship.

write a short essay on your views regarding punishment in a D/s relationship and make sure to include a section on both physical and non-physical punishments.

write an essay on the difference between discipline and punishment.

here's one you can do either 2 ways...

take a deck of playing cards, shuffle them up real good and dump them in a bowl. just sit the bowl anywhere in the house that is easily accessible.

now, depending on your like or dislike of spanking, this is how you can go about it.

if you love a sensual spanking, then any time you have been good or your husband wants to reward you, he can have you go over to the bowl and randomly pick out a playing card. the card would then determine how many swats (or how many minutes...whichever would work better for you) you would get by way of a great spanking! for example: 3 of hearts could reward you with 3 minutes of non stop spanking...or the king of spades could earn you 20 good hard swats! ~wink~ the joker or the ace could get you more. it's definitely something you and your husband would have to work out to your personal preferences.

on the flip side...if you aren't one that enjoys spanking, you could also use the playing cards as a form of punishment. you are a bad girl and all hubby has to say is "go pull a card" and then the punishment would ensue....maybe the suit of cards determining the implement to be used during the spanking. for example: hearts=hand, spades=paddle...etc.

i loved loved LOVED Timberwolf's lil diary idea!! especially the part where you read your thoughts/fantasies aloud to your husband while masturbating...or maybe letting him play with you while you try to read...consequences if you pause, stutter or lose your place. ~grin~

everyone has such....wickedly interesting ideas!

i was given a task i quite enjoyed so i'll pass it along... (and i think it's been mentioned in some variation here) i hate grocery shopping but with the following in mind, it became quite an event. i had to pick out several items to use in play.

some were obvious - wooden spoon, i actually bought a chain link dog collar (around the neck was fun but pulling the chain out link by link well...) but others weren't - a soft brush to rub on barbeque sauce (tickles!), i got these goofy looking loofah gloves but the texture - oh my!

i have to say i enjoyed grocery shopping & imagining each thing i looked at as a possible object to use in play almost as much as using each item.

i too liked timberwolf's writing idea - especially reading it back.
