Thank you, Mad Lews. I did, in fact, already drop Muse a note and have been welcomed already. (I probably should have posted that here so others would know.) In fact, I've already completed my first assignment, which was fun to write, and I'm awaiting the arrival of my tormentor to tell me how I might improve upon it.

Actually, though, I'm really looking forward to those more complex parts as I feel that is really where I probably need the most practice. I know I can write well, but fiction is not a genre I've worked with a whole lot, so I figure it is better to start slowly and see where it goes. I'm sure I'll see you around soon enough when I'm ready to be moved along.
