Fatal error: Call to undefined function cmps_template_alter() in /home2/bdsmlibr/public_html/forums/includes/functions.php(2841) : eval()'d code on line 3

    When I use http://www.bdsmlibrary.com/

I can use http://www.bdsmlibrary.com/forums/ to get here and navigate from there.
Is it me, my browser, or the site?

If you are referencing the avatar, the old pencil betwixt the teeth was all I was allowed whilst detained in a straight Jacket. An unfortunate misunderstanding with the authorities which was ironed out years (well ok months) ago.
You'll be happy to know I now type useing both index fingers for speed as well as emphasis.

Again..... WE ARE ACTIVELY MAKING CHANGES...

As T said, the front page was having a little behavioral problem. Tiger is working on it. Thanks for bringing it to our attn because it's something that yes, needed to actually be fixed. It's being fixed.

    In the meantime...

Often when we are changing things around, the server reboots. This sometimes means that *gasp* you have to re-log in, or re-enter your password, or, even, heaven forbid, re-type in the actual address to the site. Yes, we're all lazy & creatures of habit & like it to just boot up perfectly. But right now, it is going to have a snag here & there. So please be patient and perhaps try what Mistress2boytoy suggested and directly come into forums at http://www.bdsmlibrary.com/forums and log in that way.

The forums DO go up & down right now, and have been for the past few days, while we make structural changes to the areas & the site & VBulletin. It is the way it HAS to work in order for the changes to be immediate. Rather then pulling the entire site down for 6-7 days to do these changes, we left it up, so you would all at least have SOMETHING, if not perfect access.

PLEASE be patient. If I sound a bit pissed off/perturbed, it's simply because Tiger & Torq are working around the clock trying to get everything up & put together and everyone is just continuing to whine about this & that... Torq will be SURE to post a "ok we're done... any remaining issues?" post as SOON as we're done updating... just as he has the previous times.

This has nothing to do with the site being free, or us not loving the members, or any other mumbo jumbo... it simply has to do with logic & real life--- Rome wasn't built in a day, the site can't be updated in a day either--it's a monster, which you don't really appreciate until you are behind the scenes & looking at the server...

Again, PLEASE just have patience, that's all we ask

Thank you all, especailly Tiger & Torq. I realize that 99% of the worked goes unrealized by 99% of the users. When I clicked on my bookmarked link I came straight into the members section, withou logging in. Inever save logins or passwords, on any site, anywhere, anytime. I'm also getting a heuristic virus warning from Antivir, the bug is reported to be in my Firfox profiles and only pops up when I click the link. I'm going to do a scan and scrub...but it's possible that a critter has found it's way in here. just a great BIG THANKS!!! and a heads up.

    Regards,

    the Snark

If you do a search in google for BDSM library (which is what I usually do...) the libray main page link fails with a database error but the forum link is fine.

Just thought you may want to know about this... I assume it is linked to the same problem.

Getting virus alerts when trying to acess a site I have been a member to for about a year or so isnt something I consider safe for my poor computer or anything else for that matter, and neither is the rerouts.

In order to determine if it's a virus, your program should tell you the name of the virus, not just where it is.

That way others can determine if we have had the same problem, with the same file.

Also see if when you use an alternate browser, rather than Internet explorer, if you get the same result. If you don't it's application based, if you do, it's probably server based.

I only access with Firefox, and I have NOT gotten any virus alerts. My anti-virus and firewall software is kept up-to-date, so if it's there I would expect to get an alert.
One nice feature I've found with Firefox is a plug-in which lets the user control all Java scripting. I can allow scripting for BDSM Library without allowing it for the ads on the pages. I can also allow cookies for the library but block them for the advertisers.

It, in fact, may be a trojan... and it named itself after a cookie.

note that it's not a dot com but rather and underscore com, the parenthetical (1) furthers that thought for me...

I use only IE with McAfee, McAfee Site Advisor, and the Microsoft default firewall and have seen nothing amiss here at the library.

mine´s with Firefox too and I get it at home and not at work but that is perhaps because I have other firewalls and virusprotections home and at work.
I also expect to get a warning when something is up since I also keep all the protection up to date.
AVG is my antivirus and I find it real good.

Everything is working ok now. I have not received any warings from AVG since I posted this warning a few days ago. I have AVG on two computers and Avast on a third. They all reported the same results.

    Anyone else having forum problems?

This is the first I've been able to get on the forum since yesterday morning. First the main page didnt load, and then it finally did a bit ago, but I couldnt surf, or post, or enter the chatroom. I'm guessing this is a general forum problem, and not my computer.

    Anyone else having this problem?
