I havent read this whole thread but have you tried somehting like having both top and bottom lip pierced and have like hook rings with something connecting them together (smiles....a smile chain) for like being punished for talking back or speaking out of turn

I haven't tried that but it is an interesting idea. I don't have my lips pierced though
